Mobile workstations for transporting tools, parts

Nov. 13, 2012

A new line of mobile workstations from Lista International Corp. offer high-density storage cabinets on wheels for easily transporting tools and/or parts to jobsites or throughout a maintenance facility, the company said.

The Mobile MRO Workstations feature built-in shelf storage behind a lockable door, and drawer storage to accommodate a wide range of different shaped and sized items. The units include a selection of work surfaces including durable butcher block and galvanized steel. They include a locking system and handles as well as two rigid and two swivel heavy-duty ball bearing casters with wheel brakes.

A variety of locking options are available to ensure security among different users, including keyless keypad locks.

The drawers extend a full 100% from the housing for easy accessibility. Cabinet drawers each provide a 440 lb. load capacity, and include Lista’s patented PrevenTip one-drawer-at-a-time interlock safety system to prevent accidental tipping.

Each drawer also has individual latches, which secure drawers closed for safe transport. The drawers are available in six different full sidewall heights, for maximum cubic storage capacity.  A shelf compartment allows convenient, secure storage of larger, bulkier items in the same workstation.

The flexible drawer interiors can be individualized with an extensive array of subdividing options, including dividing and partitioning accessories, plastic boxes, and foam cut-out liners, the company added. The drawer interiors can also be outfitted with Lista’s mesh liners to prevent items from sliding during transport.

The Mobile MRO Workstations are available in a wide range of heights, widths and depths, and come in many configurations.
