Ingersoll Rand has released the W5130 Impactool, what it said is a high-performance, durable and versatile cordless tool. The W5130 is a 3/8-in. 20V mid-torque tool.
The tool offers 190 lbs.-ft. of torque and a length of just 6.6 in. from tip to tail.
The IQ V20 Series battery platform allows the W5130 to rival the power of a pneumatic tool in a cordless package, the company said.
“We understand professional technicians need a lot of torque to complete service work in the areas where larger tools cannot fit,” said Steve Jenson, global portfolio manager for cordless tools, Ingersoll Rand. “With that in mind, we took the DNA of the W7150 to create the W5130. It is not simply a tool, but will become a professional technician’s favorite piece of equipment.”
The W5130 runs off the patent-pending Ingersoll Rand IQV20 Series lithium-ion battery platform. The battery pack is compatible with the other tools in the series.
