• Heaters brochure for diesel fuel and coolant applications published

    Dec. 28, 2012

The Racor Div. of Parker Hannifin Corp. has published a Heaters Brochure for Diesel Fuel and Coolant Applications.

According to Racor, all diesel fuels (other than #1 diesel) contain dissolved waxes. At cold temperatures wax crystallizes, leading to fuel gelling and filter plugging. These changes greatly reduce fuel flow, adversely affecting the operability of vehicles. It is necessary, now more than ever, to utilize an efficient fuel heating system for all cold weather applications.

Racor offers a number of heater types to combat this. This brochure details those products.
