Old Dominion Freight Line has relocated and expanded two of its service centers.
The new Allentown Service Center is larger than the previous location and features 59 doors. It employs 70. The service center’s service area includes Bethlehem, Easton, Reading, Hazleton and Pottsville in Pennsylvania and Hackettstown, Belvidere, Flemington, Ringoes and High Bridge in New Jersey.
“The new service center will allow Old Dominion to better serve Allentown and the surrounding area as we continue to grow in the marketplace,” said Dan Lamancusa, the manager of the Allentown Service Center. “We are thrilled to strengthen our presence in Allentown, and plan to continue the tradition of providing timely, responsive and reliable service to all our valued customers.”
The relocation of the Cheyenne Service Center allowed ODFL to increase from four to 21 doors. The expansion will enable overnight service to regional cities, including Salt Lake City, Utah; Omaha, NE. and Billings, MT.
“The improved terminal was necessary for Old Dominion’s sustained growth in Cheyenne,” said Jason Hyepock, manager of the Cheyenne Service Center. “We look forward to upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service at our new location, for new and old customers alike.”
The terminal’s service area includes Cheyenne, Laramie, Saratoga, Wheatland and Torrington in Wyoming and Scottsbluff, Sidney and Kimball in Nebraska.
As Wyoming’s largest city and state capital, Cheyenne is an important location for Old Dominion. The area benefits from strong manufacturing, energy and agricultural industries.
