TransAxle acquires Adelman’s Truck Parts

June 13, 2013

TransAxle has acquired Adelman’s Truck Parts of Cleveland, a regional remanufacturer of transmissions and differentials for half-ton and larger trucks.

TransAxle now has 23 total branches, spanning Maine down through the Carolinas and west to Tennessee and Ohio.

The entire Adelman Cleveland staff will be retained, the company said.

“I couldn’t be more pleased than to be transitioning The Adelman’s Truck Parts of Cleveland team over to the TransAxle group. I believe this will allow the Cleveland team to reach their full potential. At the same time the transaction allows my team to sharpen focus on the remaining Adelman’s salvage business in Canton, OH & Chicago, IL,” said Carl Adelman, president of Adelman’s Truck Parts.
