New integrated system from Phillips Industries

Phillips Industries has integrated two of its popular systems into a single offering that it said will upgrade and improve the connection between the tractor and trailer.

The company’s swivel S7 socket technology has been joined with its anti-corrosive swinging gladhands and pre-fastened to a galvanized mounting plate for the new STA-Dry S7 system. 

According to the company, when a tractor/trailer combination is required to move in tandem into a tight space creating a severe angle between them, the chance of expensive and time-consuming damage to air and electrical cables, the nosebox, connectors and gladhands is likely. The swivel STA-Dry S7 system allows the cables to simply follow the movement of the tractor.
