Utility Trailer opens new location

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. has opened a new location Oklahoma. Utility Tri-State, near Oklahoma City, will offer the company’s line of refrigerated trailers, dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner curtainsided trailers.

Established in 1973, Utility Tri-State is part of Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company’s independent dealer network. In addition to Oklahoma City, Utility Tri-State’s other locations include Tulsa, OK, Texarkana, TX, Fort Smith, AR and Little Rock, AR.

The new facility in Oklahoma City is approximately 22,500 sq. ft. and includes six offices, a conference room, driver lounge, shop break room, parts warehouse and eight trailer bays with eight additional bays under a covered awning.

“We are opening this new location due to high customer demand,” said Jeff Smith, president of Utility Tri-State.

The location has 16 employees currently with plans to hire nine more, Smith said.
