East Manufacturing appoints aftermarket director

David Miedl has been named director of aftermarket parts sales and service for East Manufacturing. Miedl replaces Ted Hutchison, who is retiring after 25 years of service to East.

“This position is critical to the success of our company, and will be an excellent platform for long-term career growth,” said Dave de Poincy, president. “Dave has the background and leadership traits to help East grow the aftermarket segment of the business.”

Miedl will oversee the parts sales and service department and be responsible for all managerial, administrative and analytical support duties.

Miedl comes to East with 25 years in the trailer parts and service business. Most recently, he was outside parts sales rep at A&H Trucking and prior to that was outside parts sales and service manager at Transport Services.
