Sept. 12, 2013

Ryder System has opened a new facility in Anchorage, AK, that features state-of-the art maintenance and rental services.

The facility features two and a half service bays and the capability to support EPA 2010 engines with maintenance and diesel exhaust fluid.

“Ryder is thrilled to expand in Alaska and have the capacity to better serve the company’s growing customer base there,” said John Gleason, Ryder’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.  “We look forward to continued growth in the state and working to ensure that our customers have access to the latest in maintenance technologies, expert technicians and a wide selection of rental vehicles.”

The facility offers Ryder Full Service Lease services that include comprehensive maintenance and a variety of complementary services, such as emergency roadside assistance, fueling, equipment evaluations and specification, fleet management reporting tools, administrative support, and driver safety programs.  Ryder Commercial Rental provides customers with rental trucks on a short-term basis to meet their needs for supplemental capacity.

Also available is Ryder Contract Maintenance, which provides maintenance for customers who wish to use Ryder’s extensive network of facilities and technicians to maintain their truck fleet.
