Boneyard blues

Feb. 10, 2014

Like a Springsteen lyric come hauntingly to life, this metallic boneyard holds silent hulks of picked-over tractors and medium-duty chassis that rest in rows by equally muted piles of transmissions, engines, axles, and wheels—with only the occasional grasshopper, bumblebee or gust of wind for company.

To those passing by on a roaring stretch of  I-78 through Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, it may appear to be nothing more than a graveyard for trucks destined to rust away to nothing.

Yet, we’ve heard that Midway Used Trucks & Trailer Service transforms this “junk” into a seemingly endless stream of components and parts that can help ensure many running trucks can keep on humming down the highway.
