New Voyager color camera to improve blind spot visibility

Feb. 13, 2014

ASA Electronics has released a new Voyager camera to help improve blind spot visibility. The VCMS140IB color CMOS IR LED camera is a fixed design featuring a compact, one-piece molded construction that makes installation on any trailer easy.

The VCMS140IB has been thoroughly tested to rigorous over-the-road trucking standards, ASA said. The unit features a waterproof rating of IPX69K to allow for it to withstand dust, extreme temperatures and high pressure water. It also features a corrosion-resistant camera which is encased in impact resistant aluminum housing for durability.

The camera includes a microphone and eight high power IR LEDs to assist with challenging low light and high bright situations. This unit also features improved high performance color optics to provide for a better color reproduction superior to other brands in the market.
