New Webb Wheel technology fights rotor corrosion

March 13, 2014
Webb Wheel is now offering a new technology on its disc brake rotors that it said helps fight corrosion. The LifeShield technology creates an invisible protective layer across the entire rotor surface to resist corrosion beyond what traditional coatings offer, the company said.
Webb Wheel said testing through an entire winter on roads treated with salt and other anti-icing compounds resulted in significantly less corrosion build up on rotors with the LifeShield protective barrier than standard treated rotors.
