It’s a wrap

Thrilled that its Ram 1500 pickup became the first vehicle ever to score back-to-back honors from Motor Trend as that car-buff magazine’s “Truck of the Year,” Ram Truck Brand is ballyhooing the news via this immense “building wrap” on the tower of the Chrysler Group headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.

“In a brutally competitive truck industry, the Ram 1500 is the only vehicle to ever win ‘Truck of the Year’ two years in a row, reaffirming the fact that we have the best truck on the road,” noted Reid Bigland, Ram Truck Brand’s president & CEO.

Measuring 145-ft. wide by 155-ft. tall, the wrap envelops 10 of the building’s 15 floors. The image of a Ram 1500 coming across a truss bridge is itself 40 x 55 ft. and takes up four floors. The truck grille alone measures 40 x 15 ft. Installation took four days.
