• Buyer’s guide assists in purchases of dimensioning, weighing and scanning solutions

    May 30, 2014

Mettler Toledo has published a buyer’s guide to assist those looking to purchase dimensioning, weighing and scanning (DWS) solutions. The guide also explains how an automated DWS solution can provide quick return-on-investment.

The guide is free. Mettler Toledo is a supplier of DWS equipment.

According to the company, the guide provides impartial advice on available dimensioning, weighing and scanning technology, system configurations, and what needs to be planned for when implementing new DWS equipment.

Among others, the guide covers topics, such as how to select the right equipment by looking at existing processes; how to calculate the total cost of ownership of new equipment; and how to integrate a DWS system into existing operations with minimum impact on operation.

The guide offers practical, educational information to both experienced and first-time buyers of automatic DWS equipment, Mettler Toledo said. It is intended to present more comprehensive information than you find in sales brochures which tend to answer questions about "who?" and "what?" This guide aims to provide answers to "how?" and "why?"
