Our intrepid reporter recently came across this circa-1910 Chuckwagon, purpose-built of painted wood, leather and steel by none other than that famed manufacturer of specialized equipment, John Deere.
This no-fuss mainstay of the Western range was designed to accomplish one critical mission: serve up hot coffee and grub to cowboys hungered by hard days in the saddle driving cattle on long drives or across expansive ranch lands under the always wide open skies of the Great American West.
