Old Dominion expands in Maine

June 25, 2014

Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) has expanded its Portland (Maine) service center, adding 60% more doors to the renovated facility.

The facility now features 43 doors and employs 29, ODFL said. In close proximity to both Maine’s largest port and Interstate 95, the facility handles a variety of freight.

“As Old Dominion’s flagship Maine location, it’s important to have enough space to deliver promises for all our customers, new and old alike,” said Tony Batista, manager of the Portland service center. “We’re thrilled with our facility’s recent overhaul – a clear reflection of the company’s unwavering commitment to premium service.”

The service center provides direct service throughout Maine.
