• FleetPride acquires Republic Diesel truck parts and service business

    Aug. 13, 2014

FleetPride has acquired Republic Diesel’s truck parts and service business. The acquisition includes Republic Diesel’s heavy-duty parts and service operations in Jeffersonville, Indiana, as well as Kentucky locations in Louisville (Jennings Lane), Lexington, and Prestonsburg.

FleetPride is an independent distributor of aftermarket heavy-duty truck and trailer parts.

“With the addition of Republic Diesel, FleetPride will now operate eight locations in Kentucky and Indiana, expanding our coverage to both sides of the Ohio River. This union provides Republic Diesel's customers with access to FleetPride's national parts inventory, heavy duty expertise and efficient distribution network. In turn, it provides FleetPride with an expanded customer base, additional quality drive-in service options within close proximity, and conveniently located storefronts,” said Kevin Peters, CEO, FleetPride.

Twelve ASE Certified bays are included in the deal: six in Lexington, Kentucky and six in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Service offerings include DOT inspections, on-site inspections, on-site PM and service work, complete computerized ABS and engine diagnostics, brake repair and more, Peters said.
