Western Star launches mobile-friendly website

Sept. 2, 2014

Western Star Trucks has revamped its website with a focus on developing a user- and mobile-friendly design. Visitors can view the site, www.WesternStar.com, from any mobile or tablet device, and easily access information about Western Star 4700, 4800, 4900 and 6900 truck models.

The new Western Star 5700XE model will be added to the site later this year.

The site includes model information, dealer and service locator, eBrochures, current news, upcoming events, access to brand merchandise and opportunities to connect with Western Star on social media. The adaptive design of the site allows for on-the-go product and news updates, and features technical specs and photos for all truck models, interactive dealer location maps and more.

“We’ve seen exponential growth in website traffic coming from mobile devices, so we want people to be able to access critical information from Western Star as quickly and easily as possible,” said Andy Johnson, brand manager, Western Star. “The blending of mobile convenience with Western Star.com provides fans and customers the ability to view the information they need on the device they want without compromise.”
