Weather Guard has unveiled a new remote entry system for truck boxes. The QuickDraw keyless entry system offers push-button access to truck boxes from up to 100 ft. away and keyless unlocking from within 5 ft.
“At Weather Guard, we are committed to delivering products that provide durability, organization, and convenience both on and off the jobsite”, said Chris Filardi, vice president of marketing. “With the introduction of QuickDraw, we are able to improve the product experience by leveraging premium technology that is typically found in the automotive industry and deliver this new innovation to truck boxes.”
With the QuickDraw key fob, users simply point, click, and open up to three truck boxes on the same vehicle from up to 100 ft. away. In addition, the truck boxes automatically unlock once the key fob is within a 5 ft. range. The proximity enabled technology eliminates the need to use a key, Weather Guard said.
The QuickDraw system also provides multi-level digital encryption for increased security and up to 10 total remote fobs can be programmed per vehicle to give controlled access to multiple users.
The QuickDraw can be retrofit to existing boxes and is compatible with 16 Weather Guard models, including the popular Model 127 Saddle Box.
