PacLease unveils new website

Jan. 7, 2015

PacLease has unveiled a new website focused on the company’s offerings. Visitors can easily retrieve information on full-service leasing, rental and contract maintenance programs as well service brochures.

“The site is very easy to navigate and provides information on all our lease programs and services,” said Michelle Harry, Paccar Leasing’s director of marketing. “It provides a breakout on the trucks we offer, and how they can be customized to match our customers’ exact requirements. It also showcases the Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks equipped with the latest technology enhancements.”

The site is optimized for mobile devices as the company found that more than 40% of traffic to the previous site came via portable devices.

“The site can detect when visitors use desktop computers, smartphones or tablets for access,” Harry said. “The site then automatically displays the pages optimized for the browser and device being used. This functionality allows smartphone users to tap on listed phone numbers or addresses for the smartphone’s navigation app.”

Within the site, different customized lease programs are detailed.

“One click provides further information on our telematics system that is available on our trucks, plus our PacFuel fuel card, PacTax (fuel tax) program, and our alternative fuel program,” said Harry. “On each page, we have a ‘Contact an Expert’ button, where customers can provide fleet information and ask any question of PacLease directly.”

A dedicated page for commercial truck rental provides information on the medium- and heavy-duty straight trucks, day cabs and sleeper units that are available for daily, weekly and monthly rental needs.

The site offers a franchise locator, which allows customers to find the PacLease location nearest to them. Customers can enter their location and directions will then be displayed.
