Tru-Track 13K, 20K suspensions available for Freightliner, Western Star trucks

Jan. 16, 2015

The Tru-Track 13K and 20K suspensions series from Watson & Chalin is now available for Freightliner and Western Start trucks. There is also a direct ship program to help ensure support to the dealer network, the company said.

Watson & Chalin said its Tru-Track Series is the most popular steerable model and incorporates the company’s “quick-change ride height system.” Tru-Track capacity ranges from 10K to 20K. The Super Short Rail (SSR) version offers a more compact mounting design when space requirements become critical.

Tru-Track 20K is a steerable lift axle weighing only 1,297 lbs. It has 25 deg. of wheel cut while accepting 445/65R22.5 tires. This vertically integrated suspension is currently available in truck and trailer mounts backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

To keep shipping simple, the company is now offering a direct ship program.

“In this time sensitive world, there is a need to have products readily available without the hassle of inventorying the product. The program is designed to help meet those needs and more,” said Keith Rhodes, director, North & South American sales & marketing communications at W&C.
