Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new truck collision repair center in the Philadelphia suburb of Fairless Hills, PA. It is the second Penske repair center in Pennsylvania and the 18th in North America.
“The facility serves the needs of Penske’s truck fleet and contract customers, as well as commercial truck fleets,” said James Svaasand, Penske’s vice president of collision repair.
The center does collision, box and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles.
The 14,000-sq.-ft. building is on four acres and utilizes light fixtures that reduce energy use by 50%. It features a high-efficiency paint spray booth that greatly filters emissions. This booth employs smart technology that minimizes energy and fuel consumption, housing a high-tech air filtration system.
