• Truck sales continue climb

    Sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks climbed again in February, according to data compiled by Fleet Owner sister publication WardsAuto.

    Sales were up 16.3% in February on 30,848 deliveries in the month. Class 8 sales were up 26.7% led by Kenworth, which gains 56.5%. Medium-duty sales climbed 4.5%.

    Inventories are also up, WardsAuto said, with Class 8 stockpiles rising to 43,411 units and medium-duty inventory reaching 48,108.
