Lower Great Lakes Kenworth opens IN parts, service location

Lower Great Lakes Kenworth has opened a 10,000-sq.-ft. parts and service facility in Lafayette, IN, with access to U.S. I-65, State Route 38 and the Sagamore Parkway, the company said.“Lafayette is home to a large automobile manufacturing plant supported by many local suppliers who need parts and service support for their trucks,” said Ron Whiteford, president of Lower Great Lakes Kenworth. “We also are serving truck operators traveling between Indianapolis and Chicago on I-65. With this facility’s 8,000 square-foot service area, we can get our customers’ trucks back on the road quickly, while also providing a comprehensive parts inventory to meet their needs.”The Lafayette dealership joins four more sites under the banner of Lower Great Lakes Kenworth in La Porte and South Bend, IN, and Lima and Toledo (Perrysburg), OH. It is also part of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 360 locations in the United States and Canada, according to the company.
