Earlier this month, Bay & Bay Transportation unveiled a Freightliner Evolution truck featuring a custom-designed patriotic theme.The image honors those who have served in the U.S. military, especially prisoners of war and those missing in action. The custom artwork includes a black and white photo taken of Dave Anderson, founder of Bay & Bay Transportation, while serving in Vietnam in 1966. Anderson passed away in 2009, the company said.“Our company has always had a strong affiliation with the U.S. military because of my dad’s service in the Marines,” said Sam Anderson, Dave’s son and president and CEO. “It’s become part of the fabric of our company and who we are.”The new patriotic truck joins nine other custom-designed Bay & Bay company trucks on the nation’s highways, the company said.
