Fleetline announced its new polyethylene fenders are designed specifically for wide base tire users. The company added that they are an “ideal fit for fleets and owner operators looking to reduce costs and improve fuel savings.”The new fenders are 19” wide and constructed of a lightweight high density polyethylene that is durable with UV and corrosion resistance, according to the company. They are available in single axle, half and full tandem designs. “Over the years wide base tires have improved significantly offering advanced fuel saving technology as well as flat tire protection.” said Barry Stiles, president. “We feel our new fenders will compliment these advances by providing fenders that are less expensive and significantly lighter resulting in lower operating costs and reduced fuel consumption.”
