Trail King Industries received ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Mitchell, SD and West Fargo, ND, operations. The ISO 9001:2008 standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization, is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement of business-to-business interactions."This is a significant achievement for Trail King … one which reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence,” said Bruce Yakley, president. "To earn this certification required the combined efforts of everyone here at Trail King, and I am proud of our entire team for their dedication to achieving this important goal.”“Our next step is to also earn ISO 9001:2008 certification for our Yankton, SD, operation (formerly, Dakota Trailer Manufacturing), which we recently acquired in May of this year,” Yakley added.The ISO 9001:2008 standard provides guidance and tools for organizations that want to ensure their products and services consistently meet customers' requirements. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus and a process of continuous improvement.
