Double Coin drive tire nets SmartWay verification

Double Coin has said that its RLB450 drive tire has met the requirements necessary to become an EPA SmartWay verified product.
Double Coin has said that its RLB450 drive tire has met the requirements necessary to become an EPA SmartWay verified product.According to Double Coin, the RBL450 has met the low rolling resistance tire performance criteria for new tires being used in the drive position on a line-haul Class 8 tractor-trailer.“Double Coin’s ultra premium RLB450 is a regional/long-haul drive-position tire designed to deliver superior traction in all weather conditions. The RLB450 meets today’s transportation requirements and joins six other Double Coin fuel efficient models in our product line,” said Teresa Galvan, director of customer service at CMA/Double Coin. “We are very pleased to have our premium products recognized by the EPA for our low rolling resistance technology. Our customers can be assured that using any of our low rolling resistance tires will assist them in reducing emissions and increasing fuel mileage.” The tire becomes the seventh Double Coin model to be SmartWay certified. Also available are the RR680, FR605, FD405, FT105, FT125, and the FD425.
