Autocar Xspotter models’ speed governor limit can be circumvented

Autocar is recalling certain 2023-2025 ACTT (Xspotter) vehicles. A software error may allow the vehicle to exceed the speed governor limit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles." Driving at speeds greater than 33 mph can result in a loss of handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 104 vehicles. Dealers will update the vehicle and drive motor software. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 27. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACTT-2402.

Safety systems that depend on the ECU may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 105,276 vehicles. International will work with Bendix to reprogram the ECU software. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 23. Owners may contact International customer service at 800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 24515.

This recall potentially affects 74 vehicles. Dealers will inspect the lubricant levels and add lubricant or replace parts as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 30. Owners may contact International customer service at 800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 24516.
