Orange EV models’ beavertail frame obstructs reverse lights

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER and 2022-2023 T-Series trucks built with beavertail frames. The end of the beavertail frame may obstruct the center of the reverse lights. Obstructed reverse lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed February 17. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available. Orange EV models’ missing front marker light reflectors

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Missing or incorrectly positioned lights and reflectors can reduce the visibility of the trailers to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
