Ford F-150 models’ missing dashboard airbag warning label

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 F-150 vehicles. The airbag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." A missing airbag warning label will not warn occupants about the risks of airbag deployment, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

This recall potentially affects 326 vehicles. Ford will mail owners the warning labels. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25C12.

Ford models’ blank or distorted rearview camera image

Ford is recalling certain 2015 F-250, F-350, F-450, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and MKC vehicles. The rearview camera printed circuit board terminal header connector may be loose or damaged, which can result in a blank or distorted image. A blank or distorted rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 160,729 vehicles. Dealers will replace the rearview camera. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 5. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S42. This recall expands previous recall number 22V-082.

Ford F-150 Lightning models’ improperly secured battery may cause fire

Ford is recalling certain 2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles. The fasteners that secure the junction box bus bars inside the high-voltage battery pack may not have been tightened securely, which can cause electrical arcing at the busbars. Electrical arcing increases the risk of a fire. In addition, a loss of drive power may occur, which can increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects three vehicles. Dealers will inspect and repair the busbar fasteners and replace any damaged components as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 19. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S11. This recall expands previous recall number 24V-144.

General Motors models’ engine failure

General Motors is recalling certain 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV; Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe; and GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with a 6.2L V8 gas engine. The connecting rod and/or crankshaft engine components may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine damage and engine failure. Engine failure increases the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 597,571 vehicles. Dealers will inspect the engine and, if necessary, repair or replace the engine. For vehicles that pass inspection, dealers will add higher viscosity oil, install a new oil fill cap, replace the oil filter, and update the owner's manual. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 9. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 800-333-4223, Chevrolet customer service at 800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N252494000.

International models’ windshield wipers may fail

International Motors is recalling certain 2025-2026 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The linkage that connects the right-side wiper arm to the motor may separate, causing the wipers to fail. Windshield wiper failure can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 14,786 vehicles. Dealers will replace the wiper module. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23. Owners may contact International customer service at 800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25505.
