Hannay has released a new spring rewind reel for use with live electric cable. The Hannay SCR700 industrial-duty spring rewind reel is for devices such as power tools, lights and machinery.
The reel can be easily mounted on trucks and trailers with an adjustable four-way roller assembly for easy attachment in virtually any location.
A heavy-duty spring motor provides self-contained rewind power with a non-sparking ratchet assembly that locks the reel when the desired length of cable is payed out. The SCR700 houses a standard 45 amp, 3-conductor, 600 volt collector assembly with #8 gauge wiring from the collector ring to the junction box.
It accommodates 50 to 120 ft. of 14/3 to 8/3-in. live electrical cable, and is equipped with a four-way roller assembly. A cable stop is also available to prevent roller and connector damage and permit the adjustment of free cable length.
