Thirty years ago Lorraine Kruckeberg backed her vehicle over a Rubbermaid trash can, inspiring her husband Dick Kruckeberg to invent heavy-duty truck fenders made from polyurethane and eventually other composite materials. Thus, Spray Control Systems, Inc., which now does business as Minimizer, was born. Minimizer marked its 30th anniversary at the Great American Truck Show with a tour through its trade show trailer along with other events.
