The Virginia Museum of Transportation

Based in Roanoke, Va., and originally opened in 1963, the Virginia Museum of Transportation is today housed in a former Norfolk Southern freight rail station. It displays a variety of cars, trucks, trains, wagons, and other transportation equipment, including a large two-section O-gauge model train layout comprised of over 600 feet of track.
