Ford shows off new EcoBoost engine and 10-speed transmission

Ford recently showcased its brand-new second-generation 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine and new 10-speed automatic transmission during a ride and drive event for journalists at its Michigan Proving Grounds about an hour north of Detroit, pitting pre-production 2017 Ford F-150 pickups against 2016 model F-150s in a variety of towing, hill climb/descent, and acceleration tests.
