The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum, Luray, Va.

Sept. 9, 2013

The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum exhibit is a unique collection of authentically restored cars, carriages, coaches and costumes dating from 1725 to 1941 housed in Luray, Virginia. Assembled in the 1950s under the direction of H. T. N. Graves, president of Luray Caverns Corp., the collection represents one man's fascination with antique transportation that eventually blossomed into a place to both preserve and explain critical pieces of early transportation history.
