Here are the top 10 private trucking companies with the most tractors in 2024.

The past year featured many ups and downs for the trucking industry, but some companies continue to dominate. These same companies, non-coincidentally, rank highest regarding the number of tractors, according to the annual FleetOwner 500: private list.

All but one company on this list rank in the top 50 of the private fleet list. This tractor list is also dominated by private fleets for food products, with over half of the companies belonging to that sector.
