2026 FleetOwner 500: Top for-hire refrigerated fleets

While C.R. England holds the top spot, new entries and rank shake-ups mark the 2026 temperature-controlled carrier rankings. Here's our ranking of the largest reefer fleets.

The 2026 FleetOwner 500: For-Hire list ranks the largest motor carrier and commercial fleet operations in the U.S. and focuses on the largest fleets in various trucking segments, such as reefer.

Along with the FO500 list, fleets are organized by equipment types, cargo, and segment. This media gallery will focus on refrigerated fleets; upcoming FleetOwner Top 10 lists will rank fleets by other subsections.

Refrigerated fleets use temperature-controlled trailers to transport goods that must be kept at a specific temperature. This includes cargo such as perishable foods, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more. The first five fleets of this Top 10 list are in the exact rankings as last year, with C.R. England leading the pack. TransAm Trucking fell back to No. 7, with K. L. Breeden & Sons taking its place at No. 6. K & B Transportation rose one spot to No. 9, and National Carriers joined the list at No. 10.
