2026 FleetOwner 500: Top private retail/wholesale fleets

Amazon and Walmart remain the largest retail private fleets, while several building suppliers posted notable ranking gains.

Retail/wholesale fleets are the backbone of our supply chain, transporting the goods of the country’s most popular stores. This list includes home improvement companies such as Lowe’s and Home Depot, and some of America’s most-shopped retailers, such as Amazon and Walmart. Several of the private fleets on this list saw massive growth since last year; Home Depot jumped 66 spots in the overall 500 rankings, and Installed Building Products jumped 308 spots.
