Military trucks at work

Nov. 17, 2015
A look at just two of the many truck models used by the U.S. military.

It goes without saying that trucks serve a wide variety of roles within the U.S. military, including a myriad of logistical support tasks, often in far-flung locations around the world. Two examples seen in this gallery include an Oshkosh R-11 Refueler, used by the U.S. Air Force, and a Military Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) seven-ton 6x6 heavy duty off-road truck (also built by Oshkosh) used by the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy.
