Ground has been broken on a new corporate headquarters in Stoughton, WI, for Nelson Global Products.

The $3.75-million, 25,000-sq.-ft. building, expected to open in December, will house 124 product design engineers along with marketing, sales, accounting and administrative support staffs.

Nelson manufactures fabricated high-performance vehicle equipment, including mufflers and silencers, exhaust tube assemblies EGR and thermal management tubing for emissions systems, and has been located in Stoughton since 1939.

“We are an international company, but Stoughton will always be our home and I appreciate the efforts of the city to help our company and our employees stay here,” said Tom Gosnell, president and CEO, Nelson Global Products.
