Braun Demers models’ insufficient floor strength
Braun Industries is recalling certain 2025-2026 Demers FXP174 ambulances. The floor may have insufficient strength to secure the seats in position during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." Structural failure may prevent the seat from properly restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
This recall potentially affects seven vehicles. The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed March 9. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact Braun Ambulances' customer service at 800-363-7591. Braun Ambulances' number for this recall is 2026-1.
Ford models’ trailer lighting and brake may not function
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021-2026 F-150; 2022-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, Maverick; 2024-2026 Ranger; 2023-2026 F-600 SD; 2022-2027 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition; and 2026 E-Transit vehicles. When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights or a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Trailer lights or brakes that do not function can reduce the driver’s ability to control the trailer and decrease the trailer's visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
This recall potentially affects 4,381,878 vehicles. The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 17. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C10.
Ford Transit models’ loss of brake function
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Transit vehicles. The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, causing a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems." A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
This recall potentially affects 15,965 vehicles. Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly as necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C07.
Mercedes-Benz eSprinter models’ insufficient pedestrian warning sound
Daimler Vans USA is recalling certain 2025 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vehicles. The vehicles fail to make sufficient pedestrian warning sounds when in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 141, "Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles." Insufficient pedestrian warning sounds may fail to alert pedestrians of an approaching vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
This recall potentially affects 117 vehicles. Dealers will update the software for the pedestrian warning sounds. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed April 17. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in April 2026. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is V3EAVASOU.
Orange EV models’ missing door handle lock
Orange EV is recalling certain 2018-2023 T-Series Pure Electric and 2024-2026 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components." A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
This recall potentially affects 139 vehicles. OEV field service will replace the door handles. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-01.
