LOUISVILLE, KY. Kinedyne Corp. displayed its cargo securement solutions and a new winch product here at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The company is also talking to visitors to its booth about its new manufacturing facility in Nantong, China. The plant provides 200,000 sq. ft. of production and office space.

“Our commitment is that everything we do should position us as a ‘Best-in-Class’ supplier,” said James Klausmann II, Kinedyne’s executive vp. “That’s why we elected to invest in expanding our in-house manufacturing capabilities, so we would have the overall capacity necessary to solidify our leadership position in the industry.”

Kinedyne has more than 5,000 items in its product line. Those products include flatbed offerings such as the new one-piece cast mandrel winch. The winch is made of cast steel with an improved web slot radius that significantly decreases cutting and abrasion on webbing. The mandrel cap holes, designed to receive the winch bar tip, are more resistant to “egging” or elongation over time, offering improved safety for the winch bar operator, Kinedyne said.

“We’ve invested heavily in this project and the end result is a stronger, safer, and longer-lasting winch,” said Larry Harrison, vp-sales and marketing. “We made these upgrades without adding any substantial cost to the product so customers will now get a better product at a competitive price. In fact, we’re so confident in our new winch that we’re offering the industry’s first three-year warranty on all Kinedyne cast mandrel winches.”
