Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. has received the 2009 Customer Excellence Award from Pressure Systems International.

Frank Sonzala, executive vice president for PSI, and Steve Robinson, PSI’s director of OEM sales and dealer programs, presented the award, a hand-crafted Utility trailer replica, during the 2010 Utility Parts Trade Fair, held June 3 in Anaheim, CA.

This is the third time Utility has won PSI’s Customer Excellence Award, having previously been honored in 2004 and 2008.

The award goes to a customer who has played a role in the success of PSI by equipping their trailers with the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI.

“Utility continues to be instrumental in our success by promoting the benefits of MTIS and ThermAlert,” said Sonzala. “We know Utility is a highly regarded trailer brand, and their strong support for our technology confirms that we have the number one automatic tire inflation product in the industry.”

The MTIS is sold through ArvinMeritor.
