The new Summit Certified process features a 180 point inspection, DPF cleaning, PM service, DOT inspection, and detail. Necessary repairs will be made to trucks during certification.

The process will be conducted at the Summit Truck Group reconditioning center in Joplin, Missouri.

“We have an established team in place to make sure the process runs smoothly and consistently,” states Randy Smith, vice president of used trucks, Summit Holdings. “The Summit Certified process assures our certified used trucks meet our high standards for quality and will deliver a higher standard of value to businesses.”

All trucks come with a Summit Certified packet which includes a copy of the inspection, DOT, copy of the work performed, and QC document on the work completed in the process. Summit Ultimate Warranties are available for 1 year/100,000 mi. This warranty includes full powertrain, turbocharger, fuel delivery, emissions package, and electronic control module. Custom warranties are also available.
