Nothing can slow down a truck’s productivity and threaten driver safety quite like a snow storm. And south of the Mason-Dixon Line, even a light dusting can cause chaos on the roadways. Cars lose control, accidents happen and roads close. There’s not much fleet managers can do to stave off the slushy roads and fishtailing sedans, but they can outfit their men and women heading out into the driving snow with the right gear.

Here are some of the necessities, mixed with a few not-so-essentials, that fleet owners can buy for their crews as an end-of-year thank you, for the company gift exchange, or, ideally, because you want to protect your most valuable assets of all: your drivers.
