Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful autumn day out at Eaton Proving Grounds test facility last week — and out on the road with some impressive Class 8 trucks.

Fleet Owner was there in part to check out options on Eaton-Cummins SmartAdvantage Powertrains, which also included a trip outside the facility for some real-world roadway impressions. Before computerization had fully taken hold and automotive work took someone who speaks engine, Aaron grew up in Upstate New York taking cars apart and fixing and rewiring them, keeping more than a few great jalopies (classics) on the road that probably didn't deserve to be.
