• Bowman to head US Xpress dedicated business

    Paul Bowman has been named senior VP of sales at U.S. Xpress Enterprises and will be responsible for the carrier’s dedicated services business.

    The position is a new one at U.S. Xpress, with Bowman now responsible for new business development, client expansion, marketing, pricing and logistics design within the dedicated services business unit.

    Bowman most recently served as regional VP of sales at Hogan Dedicated Services, where he oversaw new business development and key national accounts. Prior to that, he led logistics, transportation and DCC sales in the Midwest for Ryder System Inc.

    Founded in 1985, U.S. Xpress describes itself as is the nation’s second largest privately-owned truckload carrier, offer a variety of transportation solutions throughout North America.
