Club NAFA to recognize association’s members

May 16, 2013

NAFA Fleet Management Assn. is starting Club NAFA to recognize the work of 30-year-plus NAFA members.

There are 60 members now in Club NAFA.

“Club NAFA members have played important roles in the history of the association and in the history of fleet management as well,” said Phillip E. Russo, CAE, NAFA’s executive director.  “It’s important for NAFA to not only recognize these folks, but to begin utilizing the vast wealth of knowledge and experience that these long-standing members hold.”

A web page has been created at http://www.nafa.org/clubnafa to list Club NAFA members and the years in which they joined the association.  In addition, a special Club NAFA brochure was presented at NAFA’s annual conference and new membership newsletters and e-newsletters will highlight the program as well.

“These steps are all part of our plan to put the spotlight on the membership – the heart and soul of the Association,” said Russo.  “NAFA is all about people. Very special people that make this a very special association, like no other out there.  NAFA appreciates the support of each and every member and is working hard to put the spotlight back on the membership, where it belongs.”

Club NAFA was officially introduced on April 26, 2013 during NAFA’s Institute & Expo in Atlantic City, NJ.
