Driven Fleet Solutions adds managing partner

Jan. 16, 2013

Recently launched Driven Fleet Solutions has added Randall E. West as managing partner and head of business development.

West has more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry.

“We are thrilled to welcome Randy to the Driven team and believe his extensive experience and outstanding contributions to the transportation industry are an ideal fit for our company,” said Michael Parks, founder and managing partner. “Randy’s interest and enthusiasm in Driven is further reinforcement that our business model and novel approach to fleet maintenance could be a game changer in this industry.”

Drive is a full-service fleet maintenance company based in Winter Haven, FL.

Prior to joining Driven, West was president and CEO of RailCrew Express, a privately-held crew transportation service serving the Class 1 railroads in North America.  Previously, West was also a founder and director of the board for a successful fleet maintenance company that operated in 37 states and that was ultimately acquired in 2011.

“I am very excited to join Driven and to be a part of a company that is founded on the principle that best-in-class fleet maintenance can be accomplished without sacrificing outstanding customer service or meaningful cost-containment,” said West. “Driven’s approach is based on the experience of those who have had P&L responsibility at companies with fleets of substantial size and has resulted in the offering of a unique fleet maintenance solution that is unparalleled to anything I have seen in the transportation industry.  I look forward to being a part of the growth and success of this company.”
